Client: S.C.P.E.J. Zabolotnăi & Murariu, a bailiff office in Iași · Website: executor-judecatoresc-iasi.ro · Services: PHP and WordPress upgrade, Divi migration, responsive improvements, maintenance · Year: 2026
Zabolotnăi & Murariu is a bailiff office in Iași, founded in 2007 and a client of ours since 2015. Its website is where people find official, practical information: the office’s services and responsibilities, its territorial jurisdiction, the documents they need to bring, relevant legislation and the latest public auctions. We brought a website built in 2016 up to date with a modern, secure technical foundation, without changing the content, the pages or the search engine visibility the office had built over the years.
The challenge
The website had been built in 2016 with the Divi 2.6 theme and was running on PHP 7.4, a version that stopped receiving security updates at the end of 2022. It still worked, but it was carrying ten years of skipped updates: an old page builder, an old server language and a growing risk with every plugin and security update.
The brief was just as clear about what must not change. People rely on this website for official information, and it ranks for searches about bailiff services in Iași. Every page, every text and the way the site is found in search had to stay exactly as it was.
What we did
From PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.3
We migrated the website to PHP 8.3, a current version that is faster and still supported with security fixes, and made sure the theme, plugins and every page work correctly on it.
From Divi 2.6 (2016) to Divi 5.1
We upgraded the theme from Divi 2.6, released in 2016, to Divi 5.1, the latest generation of the Divi builder. Skipping almost ten years of versions in one step meant moving every page and layout to the new builder and checking each one, so that the site looks and works the same, but now runs on a theme that is maintained and receives updates.
Same content, same pages, same SEO
Nothing the visitors or search engines know was lost. We kept all the pages, texts and images, the same structure and addresses, and the same SEO settings, from the presentation of the office and the team to the territorial jurisdiction, required documents, legislation, auctions and contact pages.
Better on phones and tablets
Along the way we made small tweaks and improvements to the responsive layout and to how the website behaves on mobile, so the information is easier to read and use on phones and tablets.
The results
- A secure, supported foundation: PHP 8.3 instead of PHP 7.4, which no longer receives security updates.
- A current theme: Divi 5.1 instead of Divi 2.6 from 2016, ready for future updates.
- Nothing lost: the same content, pages and SEO as before the upgrade.
- A better mobile experience thanks to the responsive improvements.
