Accessibility Statement

Pingers IT Services wants pingers.ro to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers or voice control. Accessibility is also part of the work we do for our clients, so we hold our own website to the same standard.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG AA is the technical standard behind the European Accessibility Act (through EN 301 549) and the benchmark used for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States.

What we do

• Text and buttons use colors with sufficient contrast.
• Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• Headings, lists, landmarks and form labels are marked up so assistive technologies can read them.
• Pages can be zoomed to 200% without losing content, and nothing plays sound automatically.
• We test the website with automated accessibility tools (Google Lighthouse, based on axe-core).

Known limitations

• Some older blog articles may have images without detailed descriptions.
• Embedded content from third parties (for example Google reCAPTCHA or social media) is outside our control and may not be fully accessible.

We review the website regularly and fix issues as we find them.
